About Us

My name is Gareth Watkins and have been the owner of  ” Croix Blanche”  since June of 1999. Over the last 12 years the lakes have gone through a number of changes, but we are now back to the roots.
I have been involved in News photography for the last 20 years, including Reuters, where I was a staff photographer for 13 years.
As a carp angler for the last 30 years,  I think I know what carp anglers want and will try my best to provide it. With a fantastic complex of lakes and some cracking fish, we are off to a good start.
